Leased Line
Leased Line suite guarantees stability, deployed with carrier-grade technology and delivers a dedicated uncontended connection for your business.
Leased line services provide a permanent connection for businesses with mission critical applications that demand guaranteed bandwidth
performance to support voice, data, video and Internet applications. Leased line technology delivers a high quality of service and offers
flexible and scalable speeds. These premium technologies supply multi-site businesses with a reliable connection and greater availability
than many other WAN solutions
Leased line technologies offer low latency and a 1:1 dedicated capacity for bandwidth-dependent applications which can terminate into
Pacnet's Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) national network.
A leased line connection may typically be a head office link in a private network and can also be used for reliably delivering public
Internet connectivity to your business. Leased lines can be "split" to allow for greater traffic flexibility with both public Internet
and private network data delivered across one physical service, supporting a growth path to future proof your business.
In the emerging world of converged voice, data and video technology, a leased line solution is the ideal foundation for your business to
migrate to a single delivery IP network. We are committed to delivering quality leased line connections.

Whether you are looking for a point-to-point or point-to-multi-point solution, we offers a range of leased line technologies to suit
your individual business model. Our leased line suite includes:
- Ethernet on Fibre
- Transmission/E1
- Fixed Wireless
Ethernet on Fibre
Ethernet on Fibre offers an extremely high speed service that is both cost effective and easily scalable. It delivers up to 1Gbps of guaranteed,
symmetric IP throughput with 1:1 contention and 99.9% network availability. This flexible layer 2, point-to-multi-point or point-to-point leased
line is the core staple of today's Internet technology. It's a widely available, standard technology which can be incorporated into most LANs.
Ethernet on Fibre is an ubiquitous technology with the major benefit of being universally understood and available. Save time and money by not
having to retain staff, invest in hardware or reconfigure a network, which is all too common with other specialist technologies.
Transmission/E1
Transmission technology offers national coverage to just about anywhere within metropolitan and regional Australia. It's a dedicated point-to-point
WAN connection with speed of up to 2Mbps which can be delivered to an X.21, G.703 or Ethernet interface. This unchannelised, permanent connection
gives greater flexibility for both private network and Internet data.
Transmission is a highly cost effective solution which allows businesses to experience a leased line service for a lower cost of investment.
Fixed Wireless
Fixed Wireless is a cost effective wireless Ethernet local loop solution providing scalable speeds of up to 1 Gbps. Suitable for
customers requiring rapid provisioning of an Internet-grade solution, the service can be deployed in less than 10 days –
compared up to six weeks for a terrestial solution. Fixed wireless maybe used either for primary access or as a redundant path
to an existing fixed line connection.
