Air Change Intranet PortalChallengeAir Change is a leader in sustainable technologies for improving indoor air quality. Air Change multi-awarded technology features in some of Australia's most prominent green buildings, offices, schools, gyms, indoor pools, retail outlets and hospitals. Air Change energy recovery systems have also been exported to Asia and the Pacific regions. Air Change needed an intranet portal to help their clients to select the right product(s) for their project based on their requirements. The intranet portal is also able to create a 'what if' scenario by varying different parameters to test if the product can be used to handle certain environment conditions and select the appropriate products for their clients. A simple layout design and navigation is chosen to create a user friendly website to cater for Air Change's clients to find the information quickly and effectively. Elixir Solutions Provider worked closely with Air Change to develop a comprehensive product recommendation module which can also be used by Air Change's clients to run 'what if' scenario simulation, complete with psychrometric charts as well as detailed calculation for different parameters for the unit. To help Air Change's clients manage multiple projects better the portal saves and categorizes different products and multiple units into project groups. ResultsAir Change's engineering team receive the up-to-date information about product design parameters when they look at the same data from the portal, hence reducing the amount of engineering requests and minimisingdata input error in the design. |
